Case Study Bespoke Timber Carport

Our client wanted a bespoke timber carport with tiled roof and laying of footings.

Nestled in the middle of the Kent countryside in the village of Hamstreet, the customer in this instance was looking for a way to keep birds and dirt off their cars. The Brief Once the decision had been made that space was required for two cars and a timber building was to be used, the client put three criteria at the forefront.

The carport had to be in keeping with his house, look good and crucially, there must be a high standard of workmanship. This put the project firmly in Olson's hands. Why Were Olson chosen? How long did it take? There were some planning complications along the way but as soon as these were resolved there were about 3 days of groundwork (we also undertook clearing of shrubbery, extending the driveway and laying footings) and the building went up swiftly afterwards. Most footings involve two visits as we need to allow time for the concrete to set before laying the blocks on which the building sits. What does the customer say?
