Our garden studios have been used for everything from dance and yoga, to art, gym equipment and games rooms.
No two garden studios are alike, as each has its own purpose. We work with you to design your ideal garden studio or home office that incorporates all the features you require.
Whether that's full height windows, ceiling and floor insulation, adjoining toilet and kitchen, we build to order so that we can create your bespoke design, whilst our large stock of pre-cut timbers and materials mean that our construction lead time is quick.
All of our garden studios and offices are constructed from the same sustainably sourced, pressure treated timber that we use in our range of timber buildings so that they're built to last. In fact, we guarantee all of our timber buildings for 5 years.

We offer a range of standard sizes and options, however we can build to order so if you need something bespoke, that's no problem. Equally, we there are lots of features you can add into your garden studio, such as different roofing materials, extra doors and windows as well as boarding and cladding.
Our timber buildings are available with a range of roofing options. Below are the different types of roofing material that you can choose between. Most of our standard building specifications include Onduline or are finished ready for tiling by a roofing specialist.
Available in several colours, these corrugated sheets are made from recycled fibres that are then saturated with bitumen under controlled pressure and heat conditions. The result is a uniform, hardwearing roof backed by a 15-year manufacturers guarantee. The colours are impregnated into the material so do not require maintenance. The only thing you need to do is keep the leaves off and clear the gutters. This is our standard roof for stables as it has the ability to deaden the sound of rain.
The sister product to Onduline, Onduvilla is similar in being made from recycled fibres but is in an overlapping tile format (installed as sheets). The roof is coloured with variations to replicate the look of a clay tiled roof. With a 15-year manufacturer guarantee, this lightweight roofing material is laid over a boarded roof and can installed on any of our building ranges.
Cedar shingles add to the natural look of a timber building. They will weather naturally over time and blend into the background whilst requiring very little maintenance. As a natural material, other than the process of timber felling and delivery, this is the lowest carbon roofing option. We can install cedar shingles on any of our OTB2 and OTB3 buildings.
Tapco offers a slate look without the cost. These composite tiles can be installed by our own team and are durable and long-lasting. Tapco tiles can be installed on relatively shallow pitched roofs are available in various colours and shades as well as styles of tile.
Offering a traditional look, clay or slate tiles are ideal for complimenting surrounding buildings. All our OTB3 buildings (subject to pitch) are ready to receive a heavier roofing tile. As we install timber buildings all over the UK we prefer to do what we do best, timber buildings, and then you will need to instruct your own local roofer for this option.
Many of our timber buildings are available with a choice of cladding as well as a number of internal lining options for walls and ceilings. Depending upon the specification you choose, some will be standard and some will be available for an additional cost.
Looking quite natural and organic like a log cabin, loglap slots tightly together and is a low maintenance timber cladding that is treated to offer an extended lifespan. Although loglap cladding can be painted or stained, this is not required thank to the preservation process prior to installation.
Shiplap cladding has an overlap and rebate that gives a naturally tight fit and a low profile. Sourced from a FSC certified supplier and pressure treated, shiplap is low maintenance. Treated shiplap can be painted or stained but this is not required.
Our most popular finish for carriage houses and oak framed garages, weatherboard has a tapered profile with each board overlapping the next in a traditional style seen on timber buildings for several centuries. Well suited to a country setting or period building, the boards are treated prior to installation and are sourced only from FSC certified timber suppliers. Weatherboard can be painted or stained but this is not required thanks to the preservation process.
Ply lining provides a solid base for those looking to make additional use of their timber building. Often specified in studios and workshops the ply is used to hold in insulation as well as provide a warm and welcoming internal finish. Ply is a solid mounting surface for tools, shelves and electrical points.
An upgrade from our standard OSB boarding, ply brings a smart and stylish interior finish that is well suited to studios and offices as well as workshops or stables. Providing structural rigidity as well as aesthetics you can leave the ply bare, paint or plasterboard over it.

PVC doors are available in a range of colours including white, black, anthracite and timber effect. Easy maintenance, secure and with high-quality double glazing they are popular for studios and home offices.

Available in various sizes with single, double or triple panes and with fixed or opening options. The windows can be coloured with white, black, anthracite or wood effect options (other colours available). PVC windows are low maintenance and bring security and warmth to your timber building. Often used in studios and home offices.
As amazing as wood is, adding a layer of insulation between the outer cladding and inner lining can make all the difference for comfort both in summer and winter. If you are planning to use your building as an office, workshop or studio this is highly recommended. We also find that classic car owners are keen to insulate garages and carriage houses to help regulate temperature during the colder months.
Timber windows can be installed in nearly any of our buildings to allow in both light and air. These are double glazed and we are able to tailor the type and style of window to your requirements.
A single door, constructed from FSC certified, pressure treated timber that is installed with galvanised, heavy-duty hinges. Used extensively across our timber buildings the door can be left bare, painted or stained as required. Many buildings will include doors but you can specify additional doors for side or rear access.
It is all too easy to skip past the need to deal with run-off water from the roof of a timber building. Depending upon the roof configuration, many of our buildings include half-round plastic guttering to the front, however we also offer the option to fit guttering and downpipes to the rear pitch as well.
