Oak Framed Garages

If you're after a traditional look, our oak-framed garages, carriage houses and car ports are built to the same design as our standard timber buildings, but using an oak frame.

Our carefully crafted oak support posts and curved bracing not only add a stylish and smart finish to our oak framed garages, but really compliment period or listed buildings.

We offer two options for our oak framed garages, with oak framing throughout the building or just to the front, which offers the same 'look' at a lower cost.

Why Choose an Olson Oak Framed Garage?

All of our oak framed garages, carriage houses and car ports are constructed from the same sustainably sourced, pressure treated timber that we use in our range of timber buildings, so the rear most out of site parts are FSC certified pressure treated timber whilst the front is oak from our local sawmill.

Being based in Kent with more listed buildings than any other county, we know how important it is to design a good-looking carriage house that conforms to planning requirements and is sympathetic to the existing property. Oak, being a centuries old building material is ideal for period properties.

Built to last, we guarantee all of our timber buildings for 5 years.

Simply Designed For You

One size does not fit all; we work with you to design your ideal oak framed garage that incorporates all the features you require. Perhaps you need a particular height or width to accommodate a caravan or horsebox?

Whether you need open bays or a built-in garden store/workshop and adjoining wood store, we build to order so that we can create your bespoke design, whilst our large stock of pre-cut timbers and materials mean that our construction lead time is quick.

We also offer a range of roofing options to comply with your planning requirements or complement your existing house.

We have lots of useful planning advice for building oak framed garage, and can help to guide you through a planning application.
